Shana Marr serves as Head of Contract Services at Meridian Group Partners, leading the firm's interim, project-based, and contract talent solutions across Finance and Accounting. With more than 15 years of recruiting experience and a foundation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Shana brings a unique combination of technical expertise, market knowledge, and relationship-driven recruiting to every engagement.
Today, Shana combines perspectives from public accounting, agency recruiting, and Fortune 500 corporate talent acquisition to deliver highly strategic contract and interim staffing solutions. Her accounting background allows her to quickly understand client needs, evaluate technical competencies, and engage candidates in meaningful conversations that uncover both expertise and long-term fit.
At Meridian Group Partners, Shana partners with clients navigating periods of growth, transformation, systems implementations, acquisitions, and organizational change, providing experienced finance and accounting professionals who can create immediate impact.
Shana began her career in accounting before transitioning into executive search and talent acquisition, quickly discovering a passion for connecting organizations with exceptional finance talent. After relocating to Atlanta, she joined a large international recruiting firm, where she built expertise across contract staffing, project-based engagements, and long-term workforce solutions for large, complex organizations.
Her career later expanded into corporate talent acquisition, where she was recruited to join both Turner Broadcasting and Cox Enterprises, organizations widely recognized for their sophisticated and highly effective recruiting functions. During her eight years in corporate recruiting, Shana developed a deep understanding of internal talent strategy, stakeholder management, and the evolving workforce needs of large enterprises.
Outside of work, Shana is actively involved in her community and serves as a leader for middle school girls at North Point Community Church. She enjoys reading, staying active, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and their two dogs.
